How to get to Riviera Maya, Mexico | Grand Coral Riviera Maya
The fastest way to get to the Riviera Maya is by way of the Cancún International Airport, a 45-minute drive from Playa del Carmen. It is the second most important airport in Mexico and has the highest influx of international passengers in all Latin America. Cancún International Airport has three terminals, receiving more than 11 million persons per year.
It is located on the Cancún-Chetumal highway at Km 22.
Inside the airport, you will find taxi service and shuttle buses that will take you to downtown Cancún, the Hotel Zone and Playa del Carmen. You can also rent a car in one of the car rental services that are found inside the airport facilities.
